Recipe FAQs

Can I prepare the pinwheels ahead of time?

Yes, you can assemble the pinwheels in advance and bake them just before serving to maintain crispness.

What can I use instead of cooked chicken breast?

Rotisserie chicken works well as a convenient substitute for shredded cooked chicken breast.

How spicy are the pinwheels, and can I adjust the heat?

The heat level comes from buffalo wing sauce, which can be adjusted to taste. Adding cayenne pepper increases the spiciness.

Is there an alternative cooking method besides baking?

Yes, pinwheels can be air-fried at 200°C (400°F) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway for even crispiness.

What should I serve with these pinwheels?

Serve with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping to enhance the flavors.
