Instructions

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) Lightly grease a 23x33 cm (9x13 inch) baking dish.
Step 2:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions until just al dente Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat Add onion and cook until softened about 3 minutes Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute more.

Stir in marinara sauce tomato paste oregano basil and red pepper flakes Simmer for 5 minutes Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7:
In a large mixing bowl combine cooked ziti sausage-spinach sauce and ricotta cheese Mix until evenly coated.
Step 8:
Transfer half of the pasta mixture to the prepared baking dish Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan over the top Add remaining pasta mixture and top with remaining cheeses.
Step 9:
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes Remove foil and bake an additional 10 15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
Step 10:
Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
