02 - Add the hojicha tea leaves or tea bag to a teapot, French press, or mug.
03 - Pour the heated water over the hojicha tea leaves or bag.
04 - Allow the tea to steep for 3 to 4 minutes, adjusting the duration based on desired strength intensity.
05 - Strain and discard the tea leaves if using loose leaf hojicha.
06 - Serve the hojicha Americano hot, similar to traditional Americano coffee preparation.
