# How To Make It:

01 - In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
02 - While the chicken marinates, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until smooth and refrigerate until assembly.
03 - Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken strips for 3 to 4 minutes per side until cooked through and lightly charred. Transfer to a plate.
04 - Warm the pita breads in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
05 - Spread a generous spoonful of tzatziki on each pita. Top with grilled chicken, sliced cucumber, tomato, and red onion. Fold or roll each pita to enclose the filling.
06 - Serve the wraps immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Everything comes together in half an hour, perfect for nights when youre hungry but not patient.
  • The combo of warm spiced chicken and cold creamy tzatziki is ridiculously good and feels restaurant fancy.
  • You can prep the tzatziki ahead and marinate the chicken in the morning so dinner is just a quick sear and wrap.
02 -
  • Squeeze the grated cucumber really hard in a clean towel or cheesecloth, watery tzatziki will ruin the wrap and make everything slide around.
  • Dont walk away from the chicken while its cooking, those thin strips go from perfect to overdone in less than a minute.
  • Warm your pitas or theyll crack when you try to fold them, I learned this the frustrating way on my first attempt.
03 -
  • Pound your chicken breasts to an even thickness before slicing so the strips cook uniformly and stay juicy.
  • Let the cooked chicken rest for a minute before piling it into the wraps, it keeps the juices from making everything soggy.
  • If your pitas are stiff from the fridge, steam them briefly in a covered pan with a splash of water for instant softness.
